Since in German new compounds can be formed any time, dictionaries can never be complete and therefore the office dictionary pro is able to automatically decompose compounds into their components and display their translations.

This certainly is not always sufficient to determine the proper translation of the compound as a whole, in the above example it would be prospects of success -in other cases the translation could be quite different -, but often the automatic decomposition is a valuable help.
