Search window

The office dictionary can be activated at each start of Windows, and - depending on the settings - can hide and wait until you need it. It be fixed at a specific spot on your screen or appear just where you are looking up a word.

You can trigger the search in a text by a mouse button of your choice or by a key combination (hotkey) after you have selected the word to be looked up.

Displaying dictionary entries

You can specify Sie können wählen, what types of information you always want to have displayed for each word and which ones you only want to see upon request.

The list of head words you can display or hide as you prefer.

You may as well set the font size for the display according to your preferences.

Choosing the translation direction

When you are using contextual search in office dictionary pro, the source language is automatically detected in the text. Otherwise, the program checks for a word also in the opposite direction, if it cannot find a word.

You just click on the icon for the translation direction to change it.

And it only takes a click to see the back translation of a word, if you want to see it.

Speech output

You can choose between a male and a female voice for reading out words.

And for English you have the choice between American and British pronunciation.
